- Call the blood banks and organisations listed here, starting with the ones nearest the hospital.
- Ask the hospital's transfusion medicine (blood bank) department. Medical college hospitals and district hospitals have one, and they can tell you what they hold and what screening a donor needs.
- Do not pay anyone for blood, and avoid people who offer paid donors.
We never list blood donors' personal phone numbers. A donor sign-up is coming, where donors are contacted only with their consent.
